About Nicky, Founder of Photography Biz Success.

I’m Nicky, a wife, mum and proud nan who’s been passionate about photography for over 25 years.

My journey has taken me from running a wedding and commercial photography business, to managing high-street shops, to selling my work at markets, online, and with brands including Burger Kind and various charities. I’ve been selling on Etsy for over 14 years, and I’ve learned a lot along the way about what works, and what doesn’t, and what actually gets your photography found and sold.

Like many photographers, I know what it feels like to put your heart into your work and wonder why it isn’t reaching the people it’s meant for.

During the pandemic, when our retail business went online, I started exploring new ways to earn from my photography without relying on client bookings. That curiosity led me back to Etsy – and eventually to the decision to start completely fresh, document my journey in real time, and share everything I learn along the way.

That’s what Photography Biz Success has grown into. A space where I help photographers like you set up and grow a fine art print shop on Etsy – with a clear path, honest advice, and someone genuinely in your corner.

I’m not teaching theory. I’m doing this alongside you – building my own KNS Photography Etsy shop at the same time, so you can see exactly what I’m trying, what’s working, and what I’d do differently.

I still love learning, reading, and digging through crates for vinyl records – but what excites me most right now is helping photographers turn the images they’re already creating into a shop they’re proud of. If you’re ready to make that happen, you’re in the right place.
